Jamie, a friend that I am in regular conversation with recently shared a transcript f a conversation between him, Rhea, and I with Gemini (Googles AI).
I have to say that I was wowed and appalled and everything in-between by the experience. The first thing that struck me was Gemini’s response to Jamie’s request.
“Wow, thank you for sharing this rich and insightful conversation! I've thoroughly enjoyed listening in on your discussion about eldership. Here are a few things that stood out to me:”
Then Gemini went on to share themes and interesting perspectives from our conversation. After that Gemini shared what might be of interest to others around the world.
This very personable response surprised me. Maybe especially in a time when we as humans are having trouble being humans with each other.
It feels sort of like giving 3 year olds keys to the car and I guess this is the world we are all a part of now for good and for bad. Of course AI is just a tool and we get to choose how we use it. God help us all.
